J. CHRISTOPHER PAYNE

President & CEO
As President and Owner of MIRC Construction Services, Chris has been working in the construction industry since 1994 and has experienced and managed all aspects of the construction business.  He is responsible for all contractual commitments and obligations to the Owner at the highest level of MIRC Construction Services.  He will be available to the Owner and the MIRC management team for partnering reviews, analysis and issue resolution for the duration of any obligation.

Chris has extensive project and construction management experience, including his years as President of MIRC Construction Services.  He has successfully completed over $250 million of projects including healthcare, commercial, industrial, parking garages, government, military, retail, dormitory, mixed use and educational buildings.  Mr. Payne’s training in construction business and management include a Bachelor of Science Degree from Marshall University.  Memberships include American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE).

Every MIRC Client is distinctive and will experience Chris’s hands-on leadership and project involvement.  This commitment is essential and aids to the success of the project.  Some clients will even experience Mr. Payne as their project’s Project Manager.

NATHAN ADAM SAMPLES

Vice President & CFO
As Vice President and Owner of MIRC Construction Services, Adam has been involved in the construction industry since 1997 and has experienced and managed all aspects of the construction business.  He is responsible for the health and safety, asset assignment (manpower, tools and equipment) and job cost tracking of all MIRC Construction Services projects.  Adam is available to the Owner and the MIRC management team for eliminating and resolving any health and safety issues prior to and during each project.  By tracking job cost and managing the project assets, Adam is crucial in minimizing construction costs through the utilization of proper equipment, tools and manpower while freeing the Project Manager and Superintendent to concentrate on means, methods and schedule.  

Adam has extensive construction project safety experience.  He has successfully managed the health and safety of employees on individual projects as large as $50 million in size while maintaining the environmental, health and safety programs of the company as a whole.  These projects include healthcare, commercial, industrial, parking garages, government, military, retail, dormitory, mixed use and educational buildings.  Mr. Samples' is one of three MIRC executives with a safety degree and extensive training in construction safety and management.  The Owner can rest assured that their project will be completed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.  MIRC Construction takes pride in our proven safety and environmental record.  Adam received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Engineering from Fairmont State University.  Memberships include American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE)

Not only does he manage the health and safety of employees, Adam also directly manages the company assets, including manpower, tools and equipment.  Before the inception of MIRC Construction Services, he managed the company assets for a Fortune 500 construction firm and learned that through effective and efficient utilization of manpower and equipment, the Owner will see a direct cost savings on their project and the guarantee that the project will come in under budget and on time.

TIMOTHY JAMES MALCOMB, CHC, PMP

Project Executive
Mr. Malcomb brings a variety of experience to his position as MIRC Construction’s Project Executive. Tim’s experience ranges from environmental, health and safety consulting to industrial and commercial construction and demolition.  Prior to becoming a construction project manager in 2001, Tim spent the previous 8 years as an environmental, health and safety consultant specializing in industrial hygiene and environmental remediation.  During this portion of his career, Tim designed and managed environmental remediation projects in a variety of commercial, educational, medical, and industrial facilities as well as managed the respective companies at which he was employed.  This experience proved invaluable during his transition to construction project management.  Since becoming a construction project manager, Tim has worked in several industrial facilities as well as a multitude of commercial, educational, and medical facilities.  Tim has successfully managed over $100 million in construction, ranging from small renovation projects to full facility construction.

Mr. Malcomb has a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Fairmont State College and is a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) by the American Hospital Association.  Additionally, Tim is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.   Tim has also held numerous OSHA and EPA certifications and has held various licenses in multiple states.

SEAN E. ADKINS

Senior Estimator
As Senior Estimator of MIRC Construction Services, Sean has been in the construction industry since 1990. A carpenter by trade, Sean has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience includes construction management working as a project manager/estimator along with field experience as a Journeyman Carpenter, Construction Superintendent and Architectural Inspector. His project experience includes a vast array of projects both large and small, including healthcare, commercial, military, educational, correctional, retail, banking, dormitory, and recreational facilities bringing real world experience to the estimating process to help MIRC win and complete projects successfully.
